On Sunday 1st December 2019 an online retailer Amazon.com has released a number of Christmas themed products which included pictures of Auschwitz concentration camp. The ornaments feature various photos of historical places in Poland, including Krakow and the Auschwitz camp in Oswiecim. The list of products released by different retailers included Christmas tree ornaments, bottle openers and mouse pads. Amazon users, as well as the staff of Auschwitz Memorial, were quick to notice these products on the website, and there was a negative response confronting the website. The multinational Amazon, in charge of thousand of deliveries across the world, has been accused again of poor work conditions and misconduct. A few employees of its centre in Dunfermline, Scotland, have been found sleeping in tents outside the building in the middle of a wood. The retailer has been suffering this kind of accusations since last year GBM trade union declared workers shifts and environment were making them develop "physical and metal illnesses". The whole recent scandal was primarily discovered by The Times reporter, Mary O’Connor, who went undercover into the warehouse and found out that workers were underpaid and doing over 60 hours a week. As Green Monday, an online sale, launches today, a research reveals that British people prefer to spend their money on discounted gifts and goods earlier – on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. According to PCA Predict, British company that monitor big data on sales in real time, over 100,000 British users has looked up Green Monday deals by midday. Previously, PCA Predict registered almost twice more users interested in Black Friday. But in comparison to Cyber Monday, Green Monday is not falling far behind.  In the previous research that PCA Predict conducted in the UK in autumn 2013-2014, Green Monday was not among the top shopping days in the UK.
