Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson crowned King of the Jungle

After a very successful run, with an average audience of 6.6 million, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! finishises with Sam Thompson as the winner. 

Sam Thompson, known for his appearance on Made in Chelsea, was crowned as King of the Jungle after tough competition with boxer Tony Bellow and former Brexit Party leader and GB News presenter Nigel Farage.

The 13 members of the competition were sent to an Australian jungle where they had to compete in a series of bush trucker trails to survive until the final. Sam Thompson, in particular, had to eat a pig and camel’s reproductive organs in his final trial.  

After winner, Thompson shared his excitement with viewers. He said: “I am so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamed of doing this show and being invited on for years and years.”

Thompson had previously placed third on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 and had a long run on Made in Chelsea before leaving in 2019 to host a show on Hits Radio. He also co-presents the official Love Island podcast. 

The TV personality became popular amongst viewers after he opened up about his ADHD diagnosis, telling his campmates that he was diagnosed last year.

He said: “I’ve had the best time and I’m the luckiest person in the world.”
