Magna Groups Enterprises, an after–school care provider, is bringing Winter Wonderland to the children of Harrow.
Harrow’s Winter Wonderland will be held on Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 December, at the Blue Room events venue, Headstone Lane.
The programme is exclusively open to children of primary school age.
Eligible children will be able to enjoy 10 Magical Zones of activity, which the organisers promise will create an unforgettable experience. Activities at these zones will include Santa’s grotto, elves workshops, arts and crafts, inflatables, funfair rides, silent disco and dodgems.
Children will also be given one free hot meal.
This is the third iteration of the programme made possible by funding from the Young Harrow Foundation. The programme has also received funding from the Department for Education and Harrow Council.
The programme is exclusively open to children of primary school age (between 5-11) living or attending school in Harrow who are in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. These children must also be accompanied by an adult or a recognised carer, accompanying a maximum of two children.
The events are a part of Harrow’s efforts to provide children and young people with complimentary spots and activities during the Christmas season. Every time slot includes the additional advantage of a free nutritious meal each day.
On both days, there will be two family sessions and one special and educational needs (SEND) session, each lasting four hours. Families attending the SEND session must have an Education, Health, and Care plan (EHCP) and/or in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children.
