What are the top five skills a grade-schooler must have?

Children develop skills in five main areas of development:

1- Motor Skills: These skills are required for co-ordination between hands, eyes, legs and other body parts.

2- Creative Skills: The ability to imagine, create and think differently about a given task or problem.

3-Cognitive Skills: The core skills required to think, reason, remember and learn.

4- Social-Emotional Skills: The knowledge to recognise one’s emotions; how they feel and why, maintaining relationships, sharing and caring- all require social-emotional skills.

5-Communication Skills: The ability to talk to another, with or without words in an effective manner.
