Harry Potter play will hit west end this July

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is the eight part in Harry Potter series and will premiere in London  for the first time 7th June 2016.

The play is the first Harry Potter play to be seen on stage and will be based on the original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and Jack Tiffany “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”. It will premiere in Palace Theatre this summer and will tell the tale of Harry Potter nineteen years later. The play will be shown in parts 1 & 2 over two days.

The cast of the play have been named with Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley taking the leads as Harry, Hermione and Ron. It will be directed by Olivier and Tony award winner John Tiffany.

The tickets can be pre-booked now and prices range from £30-130. The first premiere is set for May and the tickets are open to book for the public in June and July. (Link below)

The official script book will also be released in July 2016 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon now. (Link below) The story will focus on Harry nineteen years later and his life post Voldemort.

The book summary writes:
