Housing campaigners 'Homes for All-Axe the Act' will rally outside Parliament on November 22nd to demand action against the housing crisis and present their own budget for homes. As Parliament proposes its new budget on Wednesday, Homes For All will implore the government to address long-term under-funding in council housing. In light of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire earlier this year, campaigners will also ask the government to pay for necessary fire safety provisions and further improvements in council homes. The demonstration has taken place exactly one century after the Balfour Declaration, the British pledge that supported the creation of State of Israel. Many people have come from all over the UK to demand justice for Palestine. Among them there was also the English director Ken Loach.
