The Co-founder of popular Australian rock band AC/DC, Malcolm Young died on Saturday at the age of 64. Young was not only co-founder, he was also the bands rhythm guitarist and songwriter. Described as the leader of the band he was the ‘driving force’. This happened only a month after the death of his elder brother, George Young who was producer for AC/DC. AC/DC are part of the list of highest certified music artists in the US and have sold more than 200 million records worldwide. Young and his brother founded the band in November 1973. Young was introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. The influence the brothers had on the rock scene is made clear through the strong reaction from members of the community.
